Demystifying the Third Eye for Seers

Third Eye Sight vs the Eyes of Your Heart

(Excerpt from upcoming book: Demystifying the Seer by Aspen Morrow)

“You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:5 (NIV, emphasis mine)

The third eye is also called the mind’s eye, eye of time, or the inner eye. It is a mystical, esoteric ‘invisible’ eye which is said to provide vision, sight, and perception beyond ordinary sight. It is claimed that you can open your third eye by focusing on your third eye chakra, meditating, choosing the right surroundings, flooding it with light, emptying your mind or focusing only on a meditation object, picking a mantra like “um”, and repeating until you “see something”. A list of reputed benefits to opening the third eye that new agers tout include: psychic abilities, telepathy, vivid/lucid dreaming, more effective astral projection, better sleep quality, enhanced imagination, enabled aura viewing, seeing spiritual guides, seeing energy, and seeing with eyes closed.

Some people describe seeing a ‘tunnel-like portal or worm hole’ inside their head. It can also feel like opening the ‘eyes of your imagination’, but often more vivid. Seeing with the third eye is often described in similar or same terms as those of us who see in the spirit, including a screen in your mind, or a projector screen that displays images several inches or feet out in front of you. The biggest difference is not so much how the third eye works in comparison to the eyes of the heart (spirit or eyes of understanding) so much as what people tend to see. In my experience, the third eye is much more prone to being deceived. I will talk in the next chapter about when I saw demons disguised as angels and how once you see that, as clear as anything I have seen in the natural, you will be very cautious about everything mystical! Some of the things the third eye sees, according to those who have experienced it, include seeing speed of thought, colors that don’t exist in the natural realm, images of aliens, spirit guides, demons, ascended masters, the astral plane, silver chords, and geometric and mathematical patterns, and psychedelic shapes.

People describe a sort of x-ray vision at times, seeing into things like bodies, souls and objects. They can often see things from the past, see into the future, and even into other dimensions and universes. Images seen can be digital, in cartoon form, solid, opaque, or felt and not seen at all.

If you have tampered with the new age, or invoked the opening of your third eye, I recommend going through the activation prayer in this chapter.

The biggest problem with third eye sight is that people often use it as a psychic gift, become mediums, and converse with beings that do not have their highest good, or Salvation, in mind.

Leviticus 19:31 “Don’t turn to psychics or mediums to get help. That will make you unclean. I am the Lord your God.”

There are about twenty-two verses that address psychics, mediums, and the tricks of the enemy. Scripture is clear that psychics are evil and an abomination to the Lord. We, as Believers, are not to mess with horoscopes, tarot cards, palm readings, initiating contacting deceased loved ones, or intentionally opening the third eye. The third eye can be an access point for the enemy, a satanic portal, or an opening to the astral plane and demonic realms. I have personally witnessed in the spirit (and natural) that when a person is hypnotized with a light machine, placed on the forehead, it created a spiritual portal through which demonic entities could more easily enter the mind. Flooding the third eye with light is another way it is said to be activated. The sixth chakra and kundalini awakening are tied to the serpent, and we need to flee. Although many people think seeing in the spirit and activating your third eye are the same, they are not! I also do not agree with many Christian’s teaching on “how to purify and activate the third eye.” God has clearly shown me the Eyes of the Heart and the Eyes of our Spirit man are the same, but the third eye is the counterfeit, occult, and easily prone to deception and seeing what the enemy wants you to see. Beware. [Example: April 20, 2014: Evangelist John Ramirez with Shannon Davis of Omega Man Radio, “How to Purify and Activate your Third Eye.”]

For further proof this is sourced in the occult, may be a demonic portal, and should be renounced, the third eye is called the All Seeing Eye in Freemasonry, Shiva in Buddhism, the Eye of Clairvoyance in Hinduism, and the Eye of Horus or the Eye of Osirius in Egyptian mythology. People who use the third-eye-sight are also often called seers, which is why I am starting with this complicated topic to make a clear differentiation. God commanded His people to be separate from the Egyptians’ practices. We see in the Word what happened when Moses and the Egyptian sorcerers both turned their staffs into serpents. Today’s Christians would have called Moses new age and demonic, surely. His intimacy and obedience to God was the secret to his operating in the spirit, in signs, wonders and miracles, and it is our key also.

Part of how I know how I see in the spirit is not via third eye sight, as I have never had any experiences similar to my new age friends. They are very, very different, with few similarities. I have seen demons disguised as angels, and universes, and dimensions, and heavenly realms and places, but I have never seen spirit guides, or animal spirits, or the astral plane, or aliens. So, my other dilemma was that I never did anything to activate my spiritual sight. I had to figure it out with the Lord. He is the one who called me a Seer, and confirmed it (see preface), so I am going to go with what He says about me, not what men say. I started seeing in the spirit about the same time I was saved, around age three, and continued off and on my entire life. ALL if it was God-initiated. I do not see anything unless He shows it to me. For some people they can control their seeing in the spirit, they can look to see, or turn it off, it just does not work that way for me. I have asked to see something, and the Lord has shown it to me. Taking a stance that all spiritual sight is ‘of the devil’ or ‘none of it is’, is dangerous.

One time, the Lord used an amazing Christian Missionary Alliance pastor in my life to help me when I shared with him things I was seeing in the spirt. He was gracious and did not rebuke me or condemn me like others have, but he instead was used by God to deliver a timely and profound message in my life. He told me a story I had never heard before, although I have since then heard it many times. When the FBI want to spot counterfeit bills, they don’t go studying the counterfeit. They spend so much time handling real money, that when the counterfeit shows up, it is obvious. The next day another lady started to tell me this same story (confirmation). The Lord spoke to me and said, “Study me alone, I am the real thing”. Spend so much time in the Word, in the spirit, in prayer, in worship, in prayer, in fasting, in the Word, that the enemy just looks like plastic flowers when he shows up, and I am not talking about the ones that look real, I am talking about the cheap dollar store kind people put on tombstones. I will let the dead bury the dead, I am spending time with the Living God, who smells like flowers instead of Sulphur.

There is a saying circulating in charismatic church circles that we need to ‘redeem’ things for the Kingdom that the enemy has stolen, and that ‘God’s ability to protect us is greater than the enemy’s ability to deceive’. I both agree and strongly disagree with this statement. I think it is actually very dangerous doctrine, maybe even a doctrine of demons. We do NOT need to study the new age to understand God, or to redeem things that are lost. These attempts to redeem Yoga and things like Reiki are playing with abominations. We need to flee far from the enemy, and study only the original. YHWH, Yeshua, the Holy Spirit, and the Word of God are perfectly capable of revealing what should be redeemed, and we need to spend so much time with them that the voice of the enemy or his liars is obvious. His tactics to deceive and thousands of years of practice often outperform our discernment, and we need to be continually plugged into the Source. Quit running to the new age to drag things out in an attempt to redeem them. Believers also need to ask the Lord directly if they are concerned with something spiritual that they think may be new age, it may instead be His original that the enemy has counterfeited. Remember, they often look the same. What source are you plugged into?

The bottom line for those who do not know Christ, is that accessing the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven is not permitted, including and especially inducing third eye sight.

Matthew 13:11: “To you is has been granted, to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but to them is has not been granted.”

In John 10:1, Jesus says, “Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.”

Activation:

“Abba Daddy, I come boldly to your throne in humble repentance. I confess that I have gone to look for the original among the counterfeit. I repent for being a thief and a robber and trying to gain access to mysteries in any other way than through Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. I will only come to the Father through Him from now on. I turn and look only to you. I accept you Jesus into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior. I only want to seek Your face, Your will; I only want to do what I see you do, see what you show me, and say the words you put in my mouth. I repent for seeking spiritual things among the new age. I repent for trying to open my third eye. As an act of my will I declare it closed in Jesus’ name, and seal it with salve, oil of Joy, and the Blood of the Lamb. Let me gaze on no unclean thing. Remove all scales, all veils, that hinder me from becoming like a little child and seeing the Kingdom. I ask Jesus to forgive my sins, all my iniquities; I receive His payment, His blood sacrifice on the cross. I denounce satan and all of his deceptive practices. I wash my eyes, all of them, body, soul and spirit, in the living water that proceeds from the throne of grace, and cover them with the Blood of the Lamb. Purify my eye gates, wash them clean. [You can even wash water over your eyes and forehead as a prophetic act] I ask that any deceivers be judged in your courts and sent where you will. Your will be done in me Lord, your Kingdom come! Send your guardian angels around me, around my heart, mind, soul, spirit. Lead me not into to temptation, deliver me from evil and deception. I repent, I confess, I turn, and I will clean my house [physical dwelling and body temple] of any ungodly thing, all idols, all gods, and replace in those rooms Your Word, your Spirit, ceaseless prayer, worship, and I will magnify Your name alone. I repent for seeking the signs and wonders and not the Giver of the signs. Forgive us for being a wicked generation and let us only seek You, intimacy with You, and obedience to You. In Jesus’ precious Name and Blood, Amen.”

Demystifying Meditation’s Dangers

Meditation

Although many start using mediation or mindful-ness simply as a way to calm the mind or be present when manic, it can lead to other spiritual experiences. “If you’re not aware of meditation dangers, they can unexpectedly come and cause many troubles in your life, such as frightening visions, non-physical contacts, or even insanity.” –Simona Rich, Experienced Meditator and blogger (emphasis mine). According to Rich, the purpose of mediation is to awaken to the Divine knowledge that you are a god yourself, and that you do not need God. In mediation, “the loss of connection to god must happen for you to realize that you are god….When you meditate you may get many interesting meditation experiences. For example, when I meditate, I sometimes hear conversations in different languages, see certain events from this and other worlds and see different beings.” – Simona Rich, Meditator. Rich, as a very experienced meditator, has great articles on the benefits and warnings when it comes to meditation.  If you are not prepared for this or aware that this may happen, then it can come as quite a shock. If you are, then it can help prevent a psychotic episode. If you are ok with opening up yourself to spirit guides, the dark night of the soul, and other paranormal things happening, then meditation may be a viable form of stress release for you. If you have only heard of the litany of stress-relieving benefits, then consider these “spiritual side effects”.

These modalities are being introduced into psychologist’s offices, doctor’s offices, and even the schools as benign and medically-backed practices, and this is where I take concern when parents and participants are not given this information. As an investigative journalist, I try to just observe and research, but we all know sometimes bias gets in the way; I am for the patients having all the facts and being educated enough to decide for themselves what treatments they want to pursue, and informed consent given regarding any possible dangers, side effects, or possible psychosis, which seems counter-intuitive for a doctor or counselor to recommend to psych patients.

meditationandpsychosi

A recent research study showed that those with religious holdings are more likely to have psychotic experiences. You can view that article here.

Religion and spiritually-centered activities like yoga and meditation of various kinds tend to increase health and decrease disease. However, what if overall they had the opposite affect on the mental health community? Perhaps clinicians could look not only at symptomology, but start listening with ears to hear people’s soul stories (that may include discussions about past lives, alien encounters, guides, angels, demons, ect…). And even stranger, what if their stories are true according to their experiences (and even others around them simultaneously) and not delusional?! When two people in a room see and hear the same supernatural encounter, delusional hallucination is not the best diagnosis.

SO, what if spiritual practices like yoga and meditation decreased stress but induced psychosis? Would the spiritual negative side effects outweigh the physical positive ones?

In the cases of delusion and psychosis I propose that the mental health agencies look at supernatural causes of “delusions” that may not actually be delusional.

I speak from experience. In August of 2017, I was in a trance (not brought on by anything I did, like meditation) for about four hours that was mistaken for catatonia and taken to the emergency room, where I was involuntarily committed to the psych ward wing for three nights. I have not shared that story but may do so later. What may be labeled as a psychotic episode or delusion could (as some propose) actually be a spiritual awakening, contact from another dimension (God, angels, loved ones, guides, ETs as some claim), open visions, trances, demonization, mystic experiences, and a whole host of possibilities that were previously included in the past DSM-IV (V62.89) as religious experience “exceptions” to being called schizophrenic, delusional and psychotic.

The DSM-IV listed these as nonpathological:
* Mystical experience
* Psychic opening
*Kundalini Awakening
* Possession experience
* Loss of faith
* Terminal & life-threatening illness
* Change in membership, practices & beliefs
* New religious movements and cults
* Visionary experience
* Near death experience
* Shamanic crisis
* Alien encounters

 Although it may seem I digress from the topic of meditation, I don’t. Meditation is a door that often leads to these very experiences. Oh the irony: a psychologist recommends meditation to a client that leads to an involuntary committal. If trances, visits from other-wordly beings, and self-induced mystical experiences are what you are seeking, then proceed with meditation. However, if not, wouldn’t you like your counselor, psychologist or psychiatrist to warn you of possible dangers? They would not likely do so, because most of them do not acknowledge a supernatural realm at all.
I am not saying that all meditation leads to psychosis, or uninvited spiritual encounters of the weird kind, I am just recommending to proceed with caution. See below for some great verses to mediate on, and I also recommend the phone app: Abide.

Mental Health, Seer Stories, Supernatural Psychiatry

Yoga and Mental Health (part ii)

LISTEN HERE FOR THE DOMINION FIRE PODCAST INTERVIEW

(See part one of this blog for my Seer (seeing into the ‘unseen’ realm) Story of the vision I had regarding my own participation in Yoga and how it caused ‘bipolar symptoms’)

Yoga. This is a topic that seems to divide families, churches, Believers and Unbelievers alike. My own brother, whom I love dearly, has studied yoga with masters around the world, and has had a Kundalini awakening experience, as well as being born again as a child. I love him but do not agree with him that it is harmless or even beneficial. Advanced Yogis can even shape-shift, which my brother has witnessed first hand, and which is the ultimate goal of Yoga and one of the “enlightenment” ends. (I feel these risks outweigh the rewards, just like most prescription meds. Not all med free methods are equal).

Yoga –

Yoga means to be “yoked” with Brahman—the Hindu concept of god. The poses are used in idol/deity worship in India, with their roots in mystical Egypt, and these “stretches” as we call them, are performed in front of their Hindu deities at the temples. Even the order of the poses is symbolic! The Hindus themselves think it absurd how Americans try to separate the physical exercise from the religious/spiritual aspect of yoga. The year I lived abroad in Japan, I studied world religions and Shinto-Buddhism, visiting temples and witnessing the various Buddhist forms of yoga that can be found in adapted forms across Thailand, China, and other Eastern parts of the world. It is often offending to them that yoga, a sacred spiritual practice of bodily worship to their idols, has been secularized for health benefits of movement. If you are not Hindu or Buddhist, then there are other ways to get exercise unless you want the spiritual and physical aspects that go together. If you want to experience Eastern Mystic (vs Christian Mysticism) enlightenment and the “kundalini” awakening of being yoked with the Serpent, then yoga may be a valid option for you. Just know what you are doing before you blindly do it, out of respect to yourself and the practice itself.

Yoga Teachers are Missionaries of Hinduism!

“The Hindu Vishva Parishad in its magazine very clearly states that the yoga teachers are the front missionaries.”An editorial from Hinduism Today titled “An open letter to evangelicals” written by its editor a Hindu monk states, “There is a growing missionary spirit in Hinduism..a small army of yoga missionaries is ready to go to the west.” ( Source: Christianity Today, April 8th 1991, pg 64)” (Quoted Source: Martus Ministry)

This word of caution when it comes to yoga and mental health: although it would seem that yoga is the ultimate relaxation exercise, teaching breathing and centering, many people have had an unexpected side effect: Yogis warn that yoga practice can endanger one’s sanity. In describing the awakening of “kundalini” (coiled serpent power) Gopi Krishna records his own experience as follows: “It was variable for many years, painful, obsessive…I have passed through almost all the stages of…mediumistic, psychotic, and other types of mind; for some time I was hovering between sanity and insanity.

“One often hears and reads about the dangers of Yoga, particularly of the ill-reputed Kundalini Yoga. The deliberately induced psychotic state, which in certain unstable individuals might easily lead to a real psychosis, is a danger that needs to be taken very seriously indeed. These things really are dangerous and ought not to be meddled with in our typically Western way. It is a meddling with Fate, which strikes at the very roots of human existence and can let loose a flood of sufferings of which no sane person ever dreamed. These sufferings correspond to the hellish torments of the chönyid state…” –C. G. Jung, The Tibetan book of the Dead

Carl G. Jung is known as the father of analytical psychology. He was a renowned psychiatrist and spent most of his life studying Eastern and Western philosophies.

“When my kundalini energy awakened I started seeing snakes everywhere: on TV, newspapers, I heard conversations about snakes and even dreamed about them. I felt the kundalini energy moving in me and causing physical discomfort. I felt pressure and buzzing in my ears and during one night it was almost unbearable, I started even fearing that I would not be able to remain sane.” –Simona Rich, meditator

Many books talk about these seemingly not-well-known side effects of meditation and yoga. My point is that health care professionals and those of us practicing self-care should be well educated before embarking on practices blindly or recommending them to patients. People already experiencing psychosis or who are susceptible to psychotic episodes should research these topics even more thoroughly before partaking. Books that discuss this further include:

unholy yoga

This morning, the Lord spoke to me again about this topic, confirming I was doing His will. I opened my Bible to Romans 12:1 “And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice–the kind he will accept.” I encourage you to go read the rest of that verse and the next, but it is here where He said: “Yoga = an unholy sacrifice of your body to idols.” Just cause you call it Holy Yoga does not make it Holy.

Stretches are stretches, but Yoga postures are not stretches! They are bowing in homage and salutations to sun and moon gods, tribute to deities’ conquests, and all kinds of interesting history you can find at www.whatswrongwithyoga.wordpress.com.  Once you do a “side bend” in a Yoga class, it is mystically transformed into a crescent moon salute, beckoning the deity seeking that worship. Sounds crazy, I know, but I am good speaking ‘crazy truth’!

I interviewed a few people regarding Yoga, and this is a good summary regarding the sentiments: Interview with Cyndi Millett with www.liifetree.wordpress.com

Me, Q: “Cyndi, in your experience in the mental health and inner healing/deliverance arena, what has been your experience with Yoga, if any?”

Cyndi, A: “Two things that have really stood out to me about yoga- three I guess- every move/pose is an actual expression of worship to one of their “gods” which are actually dark spirits posing as gods; they don’t seem to realize they are communing with spirit beings in their participation of yoga.

I watched a show/news documentary on how one woman went to yoga only a few times and they gave her a mantra-shortly after she began hearing voices and went to a psych service and was diagnosed schizophrenic- what she didn’t know, and they couldn’t tell her, was the mantra was chanting one of those eastern/god demons names and it attached itself to her- which caused the voices and led to her false diagnosis. Psychology is slow recognizing how the spirit realm functions.

Third, much of the church, in naïveté, desires to whitewash and baptize other religion’s methods as exercise or being more spiritually enlightened and believe it’s fine with Jesus. I don’t agree that a) we can redeem certain religious and occult things for use as Christians, b) when we try, we are giving access for those things to hang around and influence our souls and bodies. C) Jesus Fiercely (passionately) guards us from having other gods that will deceive us into a false peace and other negative fruits/ experiences. I don’t believe He’s okay with it at all. I believe the Holy Spirit is grieved at people’s willful denial and poor use of discernment.

Me, Q: What can we do to warn others, in LOVE?

Cyndi, A: “Pastors and prophets need to get back to their role of separating the pure from the profane to be salt and keep generations from slipping into occult and false religions. I can’t recall the last time I heard a message in a church warning people from such devotions. There’s all kinds of mix in the church today and this needs to change–a call to consecration is being heard in the spirit present–who has ears to hear it? And who will respond?”

Me: “I agree, I watched a YouTube video where a young Christian loved the Beatles (I do also) and was introduced to Yoga through her sister and their music. Just ONE meditation/yoga poses experience in her home invoked a demon, and when she opened her eyes, the demon was sitting across the room looking at her, and she said it looked just like one of the Hindu Deities! That was her one and only time tampering with yoga. We often know not what we do, or what is happening in the supernatural realms.  I absolutely agree that there is often a counterfeit version of truth, but that not all occult things need to be redeemed or attempted to be taken over/back by Christians. I believe Yoga is one of them. The Lord has clearly shown me to be separate from this practice of idol worship, and attempts like Praise Moves (best of them), Holy Yoga, Scripture Yoga, Christian Yoga are just making a mockery of Believers. In love, I hope to share my story to spare even one family the horror we went through. And I am calling all churches and Believers, please stop hosting Holy Yoga retreats, seminars, and sharing your space with Yoga classes. For what communion or yoking should we have with darkness?”

“I still faithfully held on to the yoga which absolutely flung me deeper and deeper into the pit. I became suicidal and the anger in me grew. I recall saying in front of my mom “ I am going to take you all down with me” in a voice that was not mine. It shocked my mom and myself and I stopped for a minute and said “ that was not me.” People thought I was crazy literally.” Purvi, Martus Ministry
